All aquatics staff members are expected to contribute to our various co-curricular programs.</em></li><li>Assist the Aquatics Director in the continual development and refinement of the aquatics curriculum.</li><li>Prepare unit and lesson plans in collaboration with the PE teachers.</li><li>Assess swimmers and report on their progress using school appropriate communication.</li><ul><li>Maintains complete and accurate records related to student progress.</li><li>Regularly communicates progress to students, parents and teachers.</li><li>Engages parents and students in meaningful discussions about student achievement.</li></ul><li>Assist the Aquatics Director with scheduling of all aquatic activities and subsequent staffing needs.</li><li>Opening/Closing of the pool facility ensuring CI pool guidelines and policies are followed at all times.</li><li>Assist and actively participate in the training and professional development of all aquatics staff/swim teachers/ and PE teachers.</li><li>Supervision of lifeguards and swim instructors when the Aquatics Director is not present.</li><li>Maintenance and issuance of pool equipment, pool office, and pool locker rooms.</li><li>Assists the Aquatics Director in the preparation and completion of the Aquatics inventory and subsequent budgetary needs.</li><li>Actively support our school-sponsored swim events and activities.</li><li>Travel with the swim team as needed, locally, nationally, and internationally.</li><li>Perform clerical tasks related to swim instruction and aquatic center activities.</li><li>Follow and enforce the CI Aquatics pool guidelines, protocols, and EAP.</li><li>Undertakes any additional duties which may reasonably be assigned or requested by the Aquatics Director.</li></ul><p><strong>This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected of incumbent.
